Bambino was surrendered to the shelter 4 weeks after his dad was deployed back to the Army. He loved his dad so much. He was very bonded and missed him greatly.
 

Bambino never really bonded to the mom in the home. When his dad left, he focused his love on the 11 month old son that he shared his life with. He felt a need to protect this child, even from his mom. In a non-aggressive gesture of protection, Bambino sit on the child when the mom was attempting to discipline the boy after a mess had been made. Bambino did not want to hurt the mom. He only wanted her to leave the child alone.
 
Bambino's dad is doing our country a great service and this brave young dog is sure to make his dad proud. Now he needs a new dad, a new home and a new family. Bambino is great with other dogs and is fine with cats. Please give Bambino a purpose in life. He wants his family to love him and he wants to keep them save and let them know they are loved.
 
Bambino is fully vetted. He has been neutered, vaccinated, and wormed. A heartworm test can be done upon request for a small donation to the Shelby County No Kill Mission www.shelbycohumanes ociety.com/ clinic.htm
